Date command 
Date command in MS Dos is used to view current system date without time. Time command is used to display and set the time for current machine.

Date command Examples
date - With asking date by default
date /T - Without asking date

Time command Examples
time - Displays and prompt to set date
time /T - Displays the date
Demo 
ms-dos: date
The current date is: Sun 05/04/2014
Enter the new date: (mm-dd-yy)

ms-dos: date /T
Sun 05/04/2014

ms-dos: time
The current time is: 10:34:21.95
Enter the new time:

ms-dos: time /T
10:34 AM
